Angela Moore

Class of 1997

Moore
Angela Moore will be Aiken High School’s new principal. She also is an Aiken High graduate, class of 1992.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in special education from South Carolina State University in 1997; a master’s degree in education and divergent learning from Columbia College in 2004; and certification in educational leadership from Cambridge College in 2007.


Fred Shawn Mack

Fred Shawn Mack has been named ombudsman and coordinator of federal and alternative programs for Calhoun County Public Schools,

A son of the late Orangeburg County Councilman Fred C. Mack and Mildred Mack (Reddick) Richardson, he is a native of Bowman and the youngest of five children.

He is a graduate of South Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Arts in English education, a Master of Education in counselor education and an educational specialist in educational leadership.

As the newly hired ombudsman and coordinator of federal and alternative programs for Calhoun County Public Schools, Mack brings to the role a wealth of educational experience that spans 29-plus years. He most recently served three years as assistant principal at St. Matthews K8 School in the Calhoun County School District.

Mack received his start in education as a high school reading and English teacher at Estill High School in Hampton School District Two. He then served as an instructor of English in freshman programs at South Carolina State University. From there, Mack served as a seventh-grade language arts teacher, English department chairperson, and middle school athletics coordinator at Bowman Middle/High School, as well as a guidance counselor at Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School in the former Orangeburg Consolidated School District Five. He initiated his program leadership as the Eau Claire High School director of guidance in Richland School District One.


Jacqueline Myrick

Jacqueline Myrick has been named assistant principal at St. Mathews K8 School in Calhoun County.

She brings more than 17 years of experience and dedicated service to her new role. She has served in many capacities to support teaching and learning.

Myrick holds a master's degree in educational leadership from Southern Wesleyan University, a master's degree in rehabilitation counseling from South Carolina State University, and a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of South Carolina in Columbia


Willie Bradley

Class of 1990

Bradley
Legendary and internationally renowned trumpeter Willie Bradley will appear on the historic Dock Street Theatre stage in Charleston, South Carolina, for a MOJA Arts Festival evening of soul-stirring jazz and soul on Sept. 27 from 7-10:30 p.m.

He will be joined by up-and-coming trombonist and fellow Grammy nominee Hank Bilal.

Bradley is a native of Orangeburg, South Carolina, and a graduate of South Carolina State University, where he earned his bachelor's degree in music education and performance. He is an instructor in SC State's music program.

Over the course of his career, he has become a go–to musician for many of soul music’s greats over the years. His music reach spans worldwide and can be heard on smooth jazz radio stations including Sirius XM, Music Choice, Pandora, Spotify, and iHeart Radio.

Amanda McNulty

McNulty
Amanda McNulty is a Clemson University Extension Horticulture agent and the host of South Carolina ETV’s Making It Grow! gardening program. She studied horticulture at Clemson University as a non-traditional student.

McNulty also earned a graduate degree in teaching at South Carolina State University.
