Resources for Learning and Leadership

At SC State, we provide hands-on experience and training to our Civil Engineering students through advanced and well-equipped labs related to all major branches of Civil Engineering, including Geotechnical, Transportation, Environmental, and Strength of Materials. Additionally, our student organizations, such as the ASCE and NSBE student chapter, offer excellent opportunities to engage and learn within the team, whether in your major or across other fields. Our Civil Engineering students participate in projects for student conferences, symposia, competitions, and various tournaments at both the state and national levels. This will further enable our students to develop networking skills with future employers, faculty experts, and industry leaders, both for job markets and higher studies.

Scholarship & Financial Aid Opportunities

SC State participates in all applicable federal and state financial aid programs, including the Pell Grant, Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant, Work-Study, and all federal loan programs (Perkins, Stafford, Subsidized, Unsubsidized, and Parent Loans).
